Anu Venkitaraman
Managing Partner

Anu is a senior marketing executive with more than eighteen years experience navigating the intricacies of strategy, international marketing, business, and operations management. Focused on technology-intensive companies, she has successfully developed and directed strategic marketing launches as well as key industry alliance and channel programs for semi-conductor, networking, and network security businesses. As a co-founder of ReThink Marketing, Anu saw the opportunity to establish a strategic marketing firm that delivers high-impact solutions through a collaborative engagement process .

Having led marketing initiatives from concept through rollout, Anu balances customer management and technical expertise with marketing savvy to deliver focused, action-oriented business solutions. She has built global partner alliance programs, managed sales operations, and has developed customer acquisition, retention, and loyalty programs for companies like Malhar International, ODS Networks, and Intrusion, Inc. Her list of accomplishments include the creation of a successful three-tier global partner network, the development of international channel marketing initiatives, and the expansion of geographically-specific advertising, sales incentive, and joint marketing programs .

Anu’s expertise includes strategic market development, research and qualitative analysis, market segmentation, survey design, competitive analysis, and project management. She is adept at building C-level relationships, creating strategic partnerships, and managing multidisciplinary teams.

Anu is an active member of the American Marketing Association, the Richardson Chamber
of Commerce, the Metroplex Technology Business Council, and the Alliance of Technology and Women. She serves as co-chairman for the Tech Titans Committee, the premier technology recognition event in the Metroplex. She received a BS from St. Francis College, an MBA from Osmania University, and has complete coursework toward a doctorate in management science at Indian Institute of Science.

Cynthia is a seasoned marketing professional with a track record for strategic research and analysis, marketing planning, and integrated communications. Her extensive marketing and sales experience has enabled her to help organizations build and strengthen brands, enhance competitive advantage, develop integrated marketing strategies, launch new products, and improve channel and customer relationships. She co-founded ReThink Marketing to deliver practical, strategic marketing expertise that drives the growth and market share of client companies.

With more than twenty-five years as a marketing and sales professional, Cynthia has effectively directed business-to-business marketing, brand management, and communications programs for technology and services companies such as Cyrix Corporation, National Semiconductor, Intrusion Inc., and CompuCom. From research and strategic planning to corporate brand development and product campaigns, her client experience and understanding of the customer decision-making process have enabled her to build and launch successful marketing initiatives.

As a vice president and account executive, Cynthia also directed regional sales and marketing of financial planning programs for E.F. Hutton and Company, a Fortune-ranked investment firm acquired by Shearson-American Express. Additionally, she managed multi-million dollar investment portfolios for individual and corporate clients.

Cynthia received a B.A.S. in marketing and management from Dallas Baptist University.
An accomplished public speaker, she has delivered dozens of seminars for numerous corporations, associations, and non-profit organizations. She serves on the Collin County Parks Foundation Advisory Board, is a member of the Richardson Chamber of Commerce, the Metroplex Technology Business Council, and provides support to other business, community, educational, and church organizations. She currently serves ReThink Marketing in an advisory capacity.
